Programming is a very complex subject these days. In fact, we may learn so many languages, frameworks and still, this "industry" evoles so fast, that probably we may stay a bit off the road in a year or two. But this is not as impossible as it may seems. As you get the basics in programming you can make a better path and just adapt everything you know to learn a new language or framework.
